2nd Installment

Well this is my second blog and im still not entirely sure where im going to be going with this post. Studying is reaching feaver pitch at the moment as the exam looms ever closer, for my 272 I am using the MSpress training guide and the exam cram 2 book. I prefer the exam cram2 book as it gets to the point of what you are trying to learn. I favour that because it allows me to read up on things and then go away and try it out. The MSpress book is very good and it gives you step by step instructions on how to achieve things (also sometimes give explanations on real world issues), which is handy if you are not near a computer, personally I find that I cant really memorise the steps unless I do it myself. The exam cram book is much smaller to carry therefore saving my poor already squishy sarnies in the same bag and also you can try to pretend that you are not really a geek with a more compact book!

I have also been using the MeasureUp downloaded exam questions for testing myself. Whilst initially they are good for about 2 pratice tests I feel that the 50 great british pounds I paid for it is maybe a little steep for 147 questions, as once you have seen a question it becomes less valuable as you may start to memorise (at least subconciously) the answers without understanding the question. Luckily I have only got the measure up tests within the last month and all my practice tests have ended up with passes.

I really am hoping that I pass this one so I can move onto the 270 another XP exam which I feel personally I will enjoy more!
